A Night In Old San Antonio NIOSA Chairman Announces the NIOSA 2011 Entertainment...
San Antonio, TX (Vocus) February 3, 2011 -- A Night In Old San Antonio's174; (NIOSA's174;) (http://www.niosa.org/), one of the nation's8217;s largest historic preservation festivals, announces its exceptional entertainment lineup for 2011 and the return of nearly all of NIOSA favorites from last year's presentation, including local favorites such as
The Mo-Dels , The Cone Sisters.
After producing this event for 60 years, we know that many
people come to NIOSA year after year for the
entertainment's8230;and we don's8217;t want to mess with
success, so our favorite performers are coming back this
year,'s8221; says Nancy Avellar, Chairman, A Night In Old San
Antonio.'s8220;In fact, many of our performers's8212;like The
Mo-Dels, Lonesome Louie, Bobby Baker 's38; the Longnecks, and
Ballet Folklorico's8212;have been with us since the 1980s.
However, Bene Medina and his popular conjunto band win the prize
for performing at NIOSA for 42 straight years!'
The full entertainment lineup for NIOSA 2011 includes:
> Arneson Theater: The Cone Sisters, country western, contemporary, 40s and 50s (every night from 5:30-7:45 p.m.) and the
Mo-Dels, classic rock (every night, 8-10:30 p.m.)Tickets: Tickets are sold at the NIOSA gates for $12 for adults and $2 for children six to 12 years, with free admission for children five years and under.
